History

Here’s a look into how we’ve grown as a company over nearly a decade.

2016

Joe Hopkins, an attorney and successful entrepreneur, developed the idea to form a company to help businesses monitor their legal bills and catch overcharges or non-compliance. With decades of experience across general business, M&A, and real estate transactions, Joe recognized a troubling trend: legal bills were becoming increasingly excessive. Soon after, Joe invited Ryan Loro to join the company as President.

The company had scaled significantly, signing clients and establishing proof of concept. During this time, Ryan Loro reached out to Dan Schneider, founder of the cost savings consulting firm SIB Fixed Cost Reduction, to help expand operations. Dan Schneider officially joined LegalBillReview.com, bringing his expertise in scaling spend management and cost savings operations.

Strengthened Leadership: Welcomed Brian Arbetter, Esq., as General Counsel and Vice President of Law Firm Relations. With decades of legal expertise, Brian’s leadership enhances our interactions with law firms, fostering productive, collaborative relationships that drive client success.

As in-house teams became more aware of billing practices and the need to reduce invoices, coupled with the rise of e-billing software solutions, LegalBillReview.com launched a process to complement this technology with human-led review.
