As President of LegalBillReview.com, he guides the company’s strategic growth by marshaling an array of legal industry experts to increase transparency and simplicity in companies’ outside counsel expenses.
Joseph Hopkins, Esquire (In Memoriam)
Founder
Joe Hopkins practiced law for more than four decades, specializing in real estate, tax, and corporate matters. As a Founding Member of LegalBillReview.com, Joe’s experience in the legal industry and deep understanding of legal billing practices enabled the company to refine its processes and maximize its benefit to clients. His legacy continues to guide the company’s mission and commitment to excellence.
Dan Schneider
Principal
Dan Schneider is an entrepreneur specializing in growing and developing companies focusing on business-to-business services. He established a successful chain of retail mobile phone stores and an international wholesale mobile phone company before founding SIB Fixed Cost Reduction, a consulting firm that built a large and diverse client base, reviewing over $5 billion in expenses for organizations such as Walmart, Hyatt Hotels, Pep Boys, Marriott, and the American Red Cross. After 12 years leading SIB, he sold the company to private equity firm O2 Investment Partners. Since then, the company was acquired by Roak Capital, and Dan leverages his experience to guide strategy and optimize company operations.
Blake Watermeier

Blake Watermeier has over 20 years of leadership experience. Formerly instrumental in scaling operations for the hyper-growth of Frida, as well as having 13 years of experience with FedEx. He has worked in various industries, including retail, commercial and industrial supplies, travel, commercial print, and wholesale consumer goods. Blake's operational expertise spans business strategy, performance management, and building high thriving organizational teams. As the Chief Operating Officer at LegalBillReview.com, he oversees the success of driving business results through exceptional customer service and improved processes.

Brian Arbetter, Esquire

Brian Arbetter has over three decades of experience as lawyer and equity partner in several of the largest law firms in the US and world, including Baker McKenzie, Norton Rose Fulbright, Sheppard Mullin and Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp. He has expertise in a myriad of legal practice areas, including labor and employment, commercial contracts, litigation, transactions, regulatory, privacy, international and compliance, among others. He also has extensive experience in leadership of Bar and non-profit Boards. He is admitted in California, Illinois and New York and has practiced before courts and administrative agencies in almost all fifty states, as well as numerous countries outside of the US. As General Counsel & VP Compliance/Law Firm Relations, Brian oversees LegalBillReview.com’s legal and compliance issues and is the primary representative to all law firms with which LegalBillReview.com partners.

Sarah Wager has over 20 years of experience as a litigator focusing on legal matters involving complex commercial disputes, intellectual property, class actions, data privacy issues, commercial transactions, internal corporate disputes, shareholder derivative claims, real estate, employment and whistleblower cases. Before joining LegalBillReview.com Sarah was senior attorney at Dechert, Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly, and McManis Faulker. As Assistant General Counsel & Director of Law Firm Relations, Sarah works with clients and their law firms to help ensure fair and transparent billing practices.

Jeff Adkins has over a decade of experience in legal work and professional consulting, specializing in contracts, compliance, and project management. Before LegalBillReview.com, Jeff led legal operations for consulting firm SIB Fixed Cost Reduction, handling contract negotiations with a diverse array of clients including major retailers, manufacturers, restaurant groups, universities, and real estate investment trusts. Jeff also served as a legislative director in the U.S. House of Representatives. As VP of Operations at LegalBillReview.com, he oversees analysis of legal bills from start to finish, managing data, supervising our team of analysts, and interfacing with clients and their law firms to identify and correct any excessive charges.

Working closely with Jeff, VP of Operations, and Blake, Chief Operating Officer, Stephanie ensures seamless coordination across teams to deliver accurate and efficient legal bill analysis. From managing data workflows to assisting analysts and facilitating communication between clients and law firms, Stephanie contributes to identifying and resolving billing discrepancies. Bethany Wolfe is a Marketing Director with over 17 years of experience. She has led both in-person and remote teams in developing and executing multi-channel targeted campaigns, focusing on professional services. Bethany has also worked across every aspect of conferences and events hosted live and remote, from producing and promoting large-scale conventions to being a featured presenter at a national marketing conference.
Beyond campaign execution, Bethany has fostered alignment between sales and marketing teams to ensure cohesive strategy execution and conversion of engagement into pipeline and revenue.
