We are looking for an experienced attorney to manage the relationships between LegalBillReview.com, our clients, and our client’s law firm. This role is perfect for a licensed attorney who previously worked long hours at an AM Law 200 firm and has a deep understanding of the relationships between law firms and their clients.  

This position reports directly to the company’s VP of Law Firm Relations.

This position is 100% remote. Standard business hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Under strict deadlines with short turnaround times, assist law firms in resolving billing discrepancies with their clients

• Regularly email, phone, and video conference with both law firms and their clients to review open legal billing and billing procedures

• Attend internal company meetings to review ways to improve internal processes as well as processes that impact the law firms and their clients

• Take full responsibility to our clients maintaining good relationships with their law firms, at the same time, resolve billing disputes.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working at a large law firm, preferable at an AM Law 200 firm

• Comfortable reviewing and analyzing large amounts of billing analysis and performing revisions and/or responses to law firms

• Extremely organized and makes efficient use of their time

• A strong understanding of legal terms, legal billing, and the time it takes for attorneys to complete certain tasks

• Strives to uphold the highest standards for compliant and ethical legal billing

• Good sense of tact and personal diplomacy; good at persuading people without being pushy

• Clear, concise, and polished writing skills

• Exceptional conflict resolution skills

• Operates well in even the most stressful scenarios

• Accepts full responsibility for their results
